I'd shave my head if I thought the Canadiens needed the luck from another BuzzCut, but they sure won't require my shaved kharma.
I predicted (even before puck drop for Game 1) a Habs' series win in 5 games over the Flyers. I don't think the Canadiens will give Philly a chance for home-ice advantage in a Game 6.
I think they've learned from the scare the Bruins put into them. Mark Streit tells me he'll go buzzcut if Kovalev does. Alex is resisting, especially after scoring a pair against Martin Biron.
But Tom Kostopoulos, the overtime hero, tells me he's still putting pressure on the holdouts. Did you notice that Roman Hamrlik's got his playoff buzz? The Kostitsyns could be next.
Just because Coach Carbonneau has a high-priced lucky tie doesn't mean I have to think it looks good. Looks more like a road-map to me.
Or a biology textbook map of major veins and arteries or something.
And what's with wearing a Flyers' orange tie for Game 1 of Round 2?
Isn't there something strange about UFC champ "GSP" (Georges St. Pierre) appealing for peaceful Stanley Cup victory celebrations? The pride of South Shore St. Isidore is a nice guy and all, only took up martial arts after being bullied as a kid, but kinda sounds like asking Knuckles Nilan to lead your non-violent protest against Chinese oppression in Tibet.
Congratulations to Pointe-Claire's Tony Proudfoot. The Proudfoot Fund for ALS-QUEBEC has great events coming in June, including a very special gala evening that Tony's been a driving force on. If new Als Head Coach Marc Trestman wants any advice from one of the most ironclad minds in football, he'd listen to Tony.
