The ground-breaking ceremony for the new chalet to be located behind the Sarto-Desnoyers Community Centre, in Dorval, was held on Saturday, September 12.

The construction work of the chalet, which will be primarily used by teams playing on both the artificial turf soccer field and the adjacent grass field, will be completed by the end of 2009. The chalet will be operational for the 2010 season and will include four changing rooms, a referees’ room, public bathrooms, and a storage area. It will also shelter an office for the Dorval Soccer Association.
Last year, the artificial turf soccer field, the first-ever in Dorval, was built behind the Sarto-Desnoyers Community Centre, and hosted its first games during the 2009 summer season.
