Lester B. Pearson Math Olympics in which teams of grade 6 students from 21 schools vie to be tops in mathematics.
On Thursday, December 13, teams (150 students) from 11 elementary schools will compete at Riverdale High, 5060 Sources Blvd. in Pierrefonds – also from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.
This is a challenging competition and one of the fun things is that parents come in droves to cheer the students on (they also get to do the math challenges but are not graded!)
