On July 27, 2012, a neighbor was walking her dog along the city sidewalk, around 10:30, and stopped for a chat on the bottom of my driveway, when she was mowed down by a city truck.
The truck & trailer came speeding along, up on to the sidewalk and hit her with force while she was standing on my driveway.
The truck made no attempt to stop, then after the impact, the truck was then moved forward BEFORE the police came.
The victim had multiple serious injuries. After she had been transported to hospital, the city employee got back into the truck and drove away as if nothing had happened. As of last night, the victim DIED on the operating table!
Do city employees have special rights? Shouldn't they have been charged?
EVERYONE should be made aware of this accident!

the Lady who drove the small city pick-up was told that she could leave the scene , and yes she was in shock , at the time the accident happen the lady that got hit whas still alive but injured , she past away a week later . its a terrible accident that nobody would like to have in a life time , it's sad but those things happen . instead of critisise lets just have a prayer for those who are involve
thank you Joan for letting about this triste évènement. that should not have happened. If you of me were the drivers we would probably be detained and have our picture in the news paper. we were wondering if teh driver was in shock?? many moments will remain unknown.
