A First Electric Utility Vehicle for the City of Dorval
The City of Dorval, proud to take care of its green spaces in an earth-friendly manner for the past several years, has now added another string to its bow. It has recently purchased its first ever electric utility vehicle, which will help City employees in their work and transportation while preserving our environment.
The vehicle in question, named Nemo, is an environmentally-friendly vehicle fuelled only by batteries. It is designed and built in Quebec and has incredible agility thanks to a tight turning radius. Its autonomy is around 90 kilometres on a single charge and its maximum speed is 40 km/h. It can also carry up to a 450 kg payload.
This electric utility vehicle will allow employees of the Public Works Department to undertake several projects, especially concerning horticulture, throughout Dorval without emitting any pollution.
