“Parenting the Adopted Child: The Myths, the Realities and the Challenges”
The West Island Women’s Centre will hold a seminar
The West Island Women’s Centre, an agency supported by Centraide, will hold a seminar entitled “Parenting the Adopted Child: The Myths, the Realities and the Challenges” on Tuesday, March 31, 2009, from 1 to 3 p.m.
Join Liliane Brunetti for this interactive seminar to discuss a number of topics related to the adopted child, including the adoption of an older child, language and social skills development, and how to talk to children about adoption.
The seminar will be held at the West Island Women's Centre, 70 Belmont, in Pointe-Claire. All of the Women’s Centre’s seminars are free and open to the general public. Please call to register. Free childcare for preschool-aged children is also available, but you must register for this service by 3 p.m. on Monday, March 30, 2009.
