ROUYN-NORANDA HUSKIES VS. MONTREAL JUNIORS

The Montreal Juniors won 4-3 against the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies Sunday afternoon.

After being down two-nothing at the end of the second period, the Juniors came back in an exciting third period.

The Juniors scored three goals in the third with Guillaume Asselin, Nick Layton and Angelo Esposito finding the back of the net. The lead was the first for the Juniors, but that didn't last long when Jeff Desjardins beat goalie Jake Allen, who stopped 23 shots today. With the game tied and sent to overtime, Luke Adam cashed an Angelo Esposito pass to walk away with two points.

The Juniors will play on the road for the rest of the month before coming back to the Verdun Auditorium to host Halifax on February 2nd.
