2008 Homes in Bloom Contest
The Lachine Borough, in collaboration with La Société d’horticulture et d’écologie de Lachine (SHEL), invites you to participate in the 2008 Homes in Bloom Contest. From June 21 to July 6, teams of judges will visit all registered gardens to choose the winners.
One award will be attributed for each of the three districts, according to the registration categories: overall view, front / backyard or balcony / small flower-bed. The garden that will have the highest score will receive the Ensemble de l’arrondissement award.
Businesses and institutions are also encouraged to participate in this blooming wave. Only one award is given in the non-residential category.
With this annual contest, the population of Lachine has the opportunity to share its love of horticulture.
To participate in this contest, you have to register or register your neighbours by calling the Residents’ Office, at 514 637-7587. When registering, do not forget to mention in which category you wish to participate. Registration will be accepted until June 20.
