Twenty-five year old Lachine resident killed

On April 16 at around 2:30 in the morning, a 25-year old man was hit by bullets coming from at least one weapon. Passersby saw the lifeless body at the corner of Georges V and St. Antoine streets and called the police. The most probable reason for the death at the moment may have been related to a settling of debts.

Although the victim was Caucasian, he had connections to Jamaican street gangs and has a drug record with the police. At the time of the man’s death which occurred in the aforementioned intersection, a man fled on foot from the scene of the crime. No arrests have been made so far. This was the 8th homicide in the area since the beginning of this year.
