Garbage and dead leaves collection: schedule changed

From now on, the collection of household garbage will be done only once a week in Lachine. It will be done on Fridays for residents of sector 1 and on Tuesdays for residents of sector 2. The chart showing the sectors is available on the web site of Lachine Borough.

The collection of dead leaves will be on Thursdays in all sectors, and no longer on Mondays as previously announced. This is an extended collection of green residuals until November 13.

Residents are advised to deposit their green matter in re-usable containers such as a bin or compostable plastic bags that are being sold at Lachine’s RONA. Paper bags and carton boxes are also acceptable.
