The Edmonton Swiss Men's Choir in concert in Dorval
The Edmonton Swiss Men's Choir (ESMC) will be giving a concert in Dorval. The Choir directed by Elizabeth Lesoway Anderson is well known and liked in their home province of Alberta, but has also performed in different cities in the USA, as well as in Uruguay, Argentina, France and Switzerland.
The ESMC has won first prizes in competitions in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1995, in Calgary, Alberta in 1988, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1997 and in New Glarus, Wisconsin in 2003.
The concert will take place on October 2nd at 8 pm in the église de La Presentation, 625 rue de l'Église, Dorval. They will be joined by the Ensemble Vocal Dorval and together they will perform a variety of works of Swiss origin in all four official languages including yodels, but also a selection of works from other countries.
