Looking for a great career?
What is esthetics? It is the study of beauty and is part of the cosmetics industry, making it one of the fastest growing industries around. Physical appearance has always been important to the individual, regardless of age, culture and gender.
Esthetics services provide many benefits that contribute to one’s confidence and self-esteem, as well as image. The importance of looking and feeling good is recognized more than ever in the world today.
Is a career in esthetics for you?
Are you interested in beauty and wellness? Do you have good personal skills? Do you enjoy making others feel good about themselves? If you answered yes to any one of these questions, then a career in esthetics is right for you!

Estheticians are in high demand. Esthetics is one of the fastest growing professions in the beauty industry not only in North America but worldwide.

Day spas, resort/hotel spas, medical spas and destination spas are booming. Many salons are making the transition to full-service salons offering hair, nail and skin care services.

Medical professionals (dermatologist, plastic surgeons and podiatrists) are hiring estheticians to assist in their practice.

You could be an entrepreneur and own your own spa or salon, be a spa/salon manager, educator/trainer or coordinator, become a makeup artist, or a trainer or sales consultant of beauty products.

There is constant demand in these and in many other areas for qualified estheticians. A career as a Professional Esthetician is one where you can enjoy a solid income and feel great about making someone else look and feel terrific.

Are you interested in beauty and wellness, love helping people and are thinking of a career change or a second career, consider becoming an esthetician at the Gordon Robertson Career Center in Beaconsfield. Call 514.762.7766. Course begins in August.
