LEGION LACHINE NEWS
The Strawberry Dessert Card Party was a brilliant success with thanks to Marlene Dulude who prepared all refreshments and worked diligently in obtaining the excellent prizes. Thanks also to her committee who helped.

Congratulations are in order to Adeline and Jimmy Doyle who recently celebrated their sixtieth wedding anniversary.

Our Golf Tournament was a huge success. You have to have special people to make a day like this worthwhile. All members of the committee should be congratulated and a big big thank you to Brian Doyle, Glenn Nicol and Donald Smith.

Many prizes were purchased, thanks to the people who spent their time, namely Helen Carignan and Dorothy Cortese. All those who donated prizes will be receiving a letter of thanks. Also thanks to Olive Fell, Lise Shepitko, Alma Smith, Claude, Lou the Chef and the terrific kitchen staff who worked fastidiously all headed by Tammy. This will be a day to be remembered. Tremendous hard work but worth it!
