Team Richard of the Lachine Curling Club has won the Junior Women’s Championship
For the second consecutive year, Team Richard of Lachine has won the Junior Women’s Curling Championship and will be representing our province at the Canadian championships being held in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, from February 2-11, 2008.
The winners of this event will then represent Canada at the world championships being held in Sweden the first week of March 2008.
Based on our experience at last year’s event and the continued hard work of the four members of the team, Kristen Richard, Skip; Alanna Routledge, Third; Brittany O’Rourke, Second, Sasha Beauchamp, Lead (with Glenn Tester, Coach) we truly believe that we will be in a position to contend for the National Championship.
As we prepare for the National Championship, it is our hope that you will consider assisting us with the financial commitment that the team will have for this event and realize that you will be allowing four young women athletes the opportunity to succeed at the sport they love. All sponsorship payments can be made out to either The Lachine Curling Club, or Glenn Tester.
Receipts from The Lachine Curling Club are available for all sponsors.
