Dorval Honours the 100th Anniversary of the Scouts Movement
The City of Dorval is proud to dedicate the Dorval Circle floral arrangement to the Scouts movement, in this its world-wide centennial celebration year.
At the dedication ceremony on July 19, 2007, Mayor Edgar Rouleau and Councillor Robert Bourbeau stressed the commitment of the Scouts movement to youth and to various activities which seek to improve the quality of life of residents. They also expressed the delight of the City at being able to recognize the work of all those involved in this manner during this 100th Anniversary year.

Commentaire mis en ligne le 2 novembre 2008That was very nice, unfortunately no one from Scouts Quebebec bothered to tell any of the Dorval Scouting leaders, Venturers, SCouts, Cubs, or beavers
Dorval does very little for scouts.
On the other hand, Lachine Summerlea has more members in their Scouting group than the 3 groups in Lachine Combined. I know because I left Dorval Pine Beach group for a better run group in Lachine.
Scouting is a great organization and movement if run by responsible and pro-active leadership. Not the case for the Pine Beach Group
