The conservative candidate in NDG Lachine: Carmine Pontillo

As a father of a young daughter, Carmine wishes to ensure a financially responsible, safe and secure outlook for the future generations of this country. This can best be achieved by working actively with the Conservative Party in order to continue to implement sound policies in areas of fiscal management, security, environment and social programs.

The Conservatives have given our troops the tools and equipment essential for them to continue the admirable work that we require of them. We have replaced pie in the sky promises on the environment with sound, mandatory policies that will have a significant impact on the environment for generations to come. We have implemented policies that will deal with perpetrators of violent crimes accordingly. We have reduced taxes for the average family in Canada.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Carmine worked as a train conductor and was a regular crew member of the commuter trains on the Montreal-Dorion-Vaudreuil (Rigaud) rail line that runs through Montreal West, Lachine and Dorval.

Carmine was a member of the executive board of the National Congress of Italian Canadians as well as Vice President of the Canadian Italian Jurist Association.

When not working, Carmine can usually be found at his daughter’s soccer games or playing a round of golf at the Dorval golf course. «With your help and support, I would consider it a privilege to represent the citizens of Notre-Dame-de-Grâce–Lachine in the House of Commons», declares Carmine Pontillo.
