Every Saturday and Sunday in August, at 9:15 a.m. and 12:45 p.m., visitors can climb aboard a rabaska canoe in the company of an archaeologist and a heritage interpreter. The archaeological wealth of four of Lachine’s heritage sites is discovered.

At the Fur Trade at Lachine: Discover how restaurators capture and preserve the history of a building while younger participants take part in simulated archaeological digs. Historical animations and tours of the exhibit are also planned.
Along the Lachine Canal: Discover artefacts that are a witness to the history of navigation in Montréal
Aboard a rabaska canoe: Explore the canal from within in a rabaska-style canoe.
At the Lachine Museum: Meet an archaeologist.
