"I wanted to see the first all candidate debate before finalizing my decision," said Morin. "What I saw confirmed that Brian has what it takes to lead the Party and defeat Stephen Harper".
"As Chair of the Youth Caucus, I welcome Brian's commitment to youth issues and to increasing the role of youth in the Party and the Caucus. His commitment to the arts and to the role artists play in our society is also something that contributed to my decision".
"Brian's deep understanding of the country and his practical experience in a successful NDP Government in Saskatchewan were important considerations in my decision", said Morin.
